- Today, @CDCgov announced that the multistate outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to the consumption of Jule’s Cashew Brie products including vegan or plant-based cheese alternatives is over and these products are no longer available for consumers. https://go.usa.gov/x6eYS
- There were a total of 20 illnesses in CA, FL, MD and TN. FDA investigation indicated that cashews used by Jule’s Foods were the likely source of contamination.
- FDA worked with the cashew supplier to ensure that potentially contaminated product was removed from the market and that the firm implemented corrective actions.
