How do I resolve an issue I found with a publication (like content is missing or errors) ?

Send us a message at afdo@afdo.org. Please include the name of the publication, the page (if applicable) and a description of the issue you found

Directories

How can I get the contact information for myself or the organization I work for corrected?

Contact us at afdo@afdo.org for more information! Please be sure to include the name of the directory or registry that contains the incorrect information, as well as the the information that needs to be corrected.

Any other information related to the discrepancy is always welcome, including the link to the page containing the issue.

How do I find contact information for one of my state health or agriculture regulatory officials?

AFDO maintains a Directory of State and Local Officials with contact information for key health and agriculture officials.  You can access that directory here.

How do I find a process authority in my state?

You can try contacting a Universities in your state that has a food safety program or you can utilize AFDO’s publicly accessible directory to help you find a process authority in your area – the directory includes relevant details such as contact email, phone, address and more.

How do I have my name added to the SME (subject matter expert) Registry?

To get your name added to the SME directory, you can get the process started by completing the SME Registry application online.

How do I have my name added to the Food Process Authority Directory?

To have your name added to the Food Processing Authority Directory, just send an email message to afdo@afdo.org and we will help you get started on the process.

What do I get from AFDO membership?

As an AFDO member how do I reset my password?

On the member login page – there is a FORGOT PASSWORD link, click it and you will be taken through a step-by-step process to reset your password.

What is the difference between group membership and individual membership?

Group memberships are designed for Companies/Agencies that have groups of staff that want to join, they can receive a discount based on the quantity of memberships they want to purchase.  Individual is for one person. 

Is there a deadline for membership sign-up?

Memberships are based on a calendar year and there is no deadline to sign-up.

Does AFDO offer membership discounts for students?

No discounts for students are offered at this time.

I need to request a replacement training certificate.  How do I get started?
