[Note: FSIS intends to seek stakeholder feedback on specific Salmonella control and measurement strategies, including pilot projects in poultry slaughter and processing establishments. A key component of this approach is encouraging use of preharvest controls to reduce Salmonella contamination coming into the slaughterhouse.
