Description
These materials are designed to offer Produce Program Managers strategies to assist in developing their program. Understandably, every program and every inspector may have their unique approach to conducting inspections; however, the interpretation of the Rule should be consistent. By utilizing already established and available resources, the goal is to promote and ensure consistency through knowledge and understanding of the Produce Safety Rule (PSR) for effective implementation.
This tool is designed to fit seamlessly within most produce program’s current training plans. It is not intended to be a stand-alone resource but to work in conjunction with already established programs, and required educational curricula, preferably after personnel have completed the PSA Grower Training, FD226, and OFRR Train the Trainer course.
