This workbook was created to assist SLTT programs in estimating potential costs related to food code adoption or regulation revision. Each workbook tab includes a description of the worksheet and instructions at the top of the page. The first page ‘Agency Costs’ is a summary page that tallies all costs entered on the workbook tabs. The last tab, ‘Industry Costs’, is not included on the agency costs summary as industry costs are not incurred by the agency. The ‘Industry Costs’ tab in intended to be completed with input from industry partners to provide information on estimated costs of food code adoption or regulation revision to businesses. The sample version includes fictitious costs as a representation of a completed estimate.
