@DrCaliff_FDA
- Access to infant formula continues to improve. We continue to closely track production, availability, and access to specialty formulas. As we have done from the beginning, we continue to work closely with healthcare professionals and industry to monitor this evolving situation.
@FDAfood
- ALERT: @US_FDA has determined that Mother’s Touch Formula is not manufactured in compliance with the FDA’s infant formula regulations. The FDA advises parents and caregivers not to buy or give Mother’s Touch Formula to infants under their care.
- The product is being marketed as an infant formula without the required pre-market notification to the FDA, and it does not meet infant formula nutrient requirements for seven nutrients.
@SecVilsack

@SecVilsack
- As I outlined in my Food Systems Transformation speech in June, the food system of the future needs to be fair, competitive, and resilient. We’re working to create a level playing field for small and medium producers and a more equitable economy for those in food and agriculture.
- Today, @USDA is announcing almost $400M in essential food systems coordination, technical assistance, and capacity building services through new Regional Food Business Centers. The centers are the cornerstone in our development of regional supply chains.

@SecVilsack
- Complimentary food systems allow farmers to have access to commercial and local markets. The ability to sell to local schools, hospitals, and grocery stores create relationships that provide opportunity for small businesses to take root again in rural places.
- The Biden-Harris administration is using science to help guide its policies and decision making. To put it simply, we at @USDA could not do what we do without research. We understand innovation, change, and creative problem solving is going to help drive us all forward.
