  • Today, the Biden-Harris Administration announced that the Wildland Fire Mitigation and Management Commission released their report to Congress outlining a comprehensive, consensus-based set of recommendations to address the nation’s wildfire crisis. https://www.usda.gov/media/press-releases/2023/09/27/biden-harris-administrations-wildland-fire-mitigation-and
  • In the event of a shutdown, a farmer who needs a marketing assistance loan to lock in profit can’t make that loan with no one at @USDA‘s Farm Service Agency office to be able to make that loan. Consequently, this leads to a loss of profit and jeopardizes the farming operation.
