• Today, I am delighted to sign the September World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report, which commemorates 50 years of providing invaluable insights into the U.S. and global agricultural supply and demand.
• @USDA and @DeptVetAffairs have teamed up to help veterans who are experiencing food insecurity. Today, we signed a formal agreement to create a working group that will find solutions to ensure veterans get the resources and assistance they need to get the necessary nutrients.
• This afternoon, I swapped my suit jacket for a chef’s apron at the @DeptVetAffairs Veteran Food Security Summit. There, I took part in a cooking competition to highlight our work together to ensure all veterans have equitable access to nutritious and affordable food.
