@SecVilsack

  • The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to supporting rural communities by creating more competition and leveling the playing field for ranchers, farmers, and producers across America.
  • We are excited to kick off the Investing in Rural America Event Series at Dutch Creek Farms. Soon, @POTUS & I will highlight the steps the Biden-Harris Administration is taking to help rural Americans succeed in their hometowns.
  • By investing in America’s heartland, @POTUS and @USDA are promoting innovation, job creation, & opportunity nationwide. Thanks to historic pieces of legislation, like the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we have the tools to put this plan into action.

@FDAfood

  • The Voluntary Qualified Importer Program #VQIP under the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act #FSMA, for the 2023/2024 benefit year began October 1, 2023, and ends September 30, 2024. VQIP is a voluntary, fee-based program that provides importers who achieve & maintain control over the safety and security of their supply chains, expedited review & importation of human & animal foods into the U.S. The portal will reopen on Jan 1, 2024, for the 2024/25 program.

@USDA

  • Today @POTUS will be announcing over $5 billion in new investments from his Investing in America agenda. This funding will help advance rural prosperity, development and sustainability, ensuring rural Americans have opportunities right in their hometowns.
