- Outbreak Investigation of E. coli: Frozen Blueberries (July 2026) – A new outbreak of E. coli O145:H28 (ref #1389) linked to frozen blueberries has been added. FDA issued an outbreak advisory on July 6, 2026 about recalled GreenWise-brand frozen blueberries.
- Outbreak Investigation of Infant Botulism: Powdered Infant Formula (June 2026) – July 6 Update: Confirmed case count revised to four; Lab testing confirmed Clostridium botulinum in an open can of Nara formula fed to one of the sick infants; FDA is now testing an unopened sample from the same lot.
