USDA-SNAP Waivers
USDA’s tracker for state SNAP Food Restriction Waivers has been updated to include links to state webpages and retailer-specific guidance, as well as state email contacts.
- “Retailer Notices” on USDA letterhead summarizing food covered by states’ waivers have been posted for Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Utah, and West Virginia—the states with SNAP purchase restrictions beginning on January 1, 2026.
