FSIS Issues Public Health Alert for Headcheese Deli Meat Products – Listeria
- 5/14 Update:Whole genome sequencing results show that headcheese samples collected by FSIS and produced at Crawford Sausage Co. (Est. 21406) tested positive for the outbreak strain of Listeria monocytogenes. FSIS continues to coordinate with the Illinois public health and agriculture partners on the outbreak investigation.
