Retail Program Standards Grant

FoodSHIELD resource center

FoodSHIELD is a web-based system for communication, coordination, education, and training among the nation’s food and agriculture sectors. This secure system allows public health and food regulatory officials at the local, state, and federal levels across the nation to work together. It also helps communicate food safety information among other government agencies.

Grantees are encouraged to share project successes on the Retail Food Program Standards Resource Center, available at FoodSHIELD.org.

Features

The Retail Food Program Standards Resource Center is designed for federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies that are using the Voluntary National Retail Food Regulatory Program Standards for continuous improvement.

Your tools, templates, and documents may be of interest to other agencies as they work to develop their retail food regulatory programs, while reducing the amount of time needed to develop and implement customized policies, procedures, and documentation.

The Retail Food Program Standards Resource Center is intended to foster collaboration among retail food regulatory programs by enabling the sharing of tools, templates, and documents that have been developed by our state, local, tribal, and territorial partners.
