DESCRIPTION

The Voluntary National Retail Food Regulatory Program Standards (Retail Program Standards) are a set of standards designed to help retail food programs achieve best practices and procedures for a highly effective and responsive program. They provide a foundation upon which regulatory programs can build for continuous improvement.

Learn from representatives of states that have three different oversights of retail food establishments; state program only, states that delegate inspections to local agencies, and states that have locals with home rule authority, on how they manage and lead the Retail Food Program Standards.

Speakers Included:

  • Chandra Prakash Kanwat, South Carolina
  • Mark Speltz, Iowa
  • Susan Shelton, Washington
