Leading Retail Food Program Standards Statewide at the State Level

The Voluntary National Retail Food Regulatory Program Standards (Retail Program Standards) are a set of standards designed to help retail food programs achieve best practices and procedures for a highly effective and responsive program. They provide a foundation upon which regulatory programs can build for continuous improvement.

Learn from representatives of states that have three different oversights of retail food establishments; state program only, states that delegate inspections to local agencies, and states that have locals with home rule authority, on how they manage and lead the Retail Food Program Standards.
