Salmonella — The Roadmap to Reducing Salmonella: Driving Change through Science-Based Policy

On September 22, 2020 AFDO Executive Director Steve Mandernach participated in a comment session on the USDA’s OFS and FSIS plan to decrease Salmonella — The Roadmap to Reducing Salmonella: Driving Change through Science-Based Policy.  The proposal outlines programs and policies that are science-based, data-driven, and promote innovation to reduce Salmonella in meat, poultry, and egg products according to the USDA.
