About

During the Food Safety Summit in Rosemont, Illinois, the AFDO training team will offer its Implementing Risk-Based Inspections and Auditing for Retail Food Establishments – Industry Only as a certificate course May 12 and 13.

This instructor-led training builds on food safety training to further enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of food safety professionals conducting risk-based inspections. Topics include food microbiology, active managerial control (AMC) assessment, communication techniques, strategies for focusing inspections, and determining corrective actions. This two-day course is designed for industry food safety professionals, quality assurance managers, and third-party food safety auditors who want to understand risk-based inspection concepts and applications that are taught to regulatory food safety professionals.

Cost

The course fee of $1,475 includes full access to the Food Safety Summit during non-course hours, including sessions, networking receptions, and exhibit hall.
