- Consumers, restaurants and retailers should not eat, sell or serve recalled shrimp from Avanti Frozen Foods. These products were sold under several different names and package sizes so check the recall list here: https://go.usa.gov/x6v96
- FDA is investigating an outbreak of Salmonella Weltevreden linked to shrimp from Avanti Frozen Foods. Our investigation identified a common lot of shrimp that could have been consumed by people who became ill. This product is past expiration & is no longer available for sale.
- Although additional lots have not been linked to illnesses, out of an abundance of caution, Avanti Frozen Foods is recalling shrimp products imported into the U.S. from December 2020 to February 2021.
