FDA Revokes the Standard of Identity for French Dressing
@SecVilsack
- Our country has the most productive, innovative, and creative agriculture producers in the world. That’s why we’ll continue to work extremely hard to break down barriers and expand access to trade to provide them the market opportunities they deserve.
- As we continue to bolster the strength of U.S. agriculture products around the globe, it’s important for our farmers, ranchers, and producers to know that this administration will continue to reduce barriers for exports and enforce existing agreements we already have in place.
@FDAFood
- @US_FDA is revoking the standard of identity for French dressing in response to a citizen petition. We are now finalizing the rule based in part that revoking the standard will allow for greater innovation and more flexibility of products on the market. https://go.usa.gov/xtbc2
