Guidelines for the Transportation of Food Products

These guidelines are intended to protect all food from the numerous potential sources of contamination that may occur during transportation.  Temperature control is of importance to prevent the rapid and progressive growth of disease-causing organisms that are naturally present in foods as well as those introduced through incidental contamination in the operation of all vehicles transporting foods.
