Taxi:
The best method of transportation from the airport to the hotel is via taxi. Please use a Suburban Taxi. You DO NOT want to use a City Taxi as they will charge time and a half to go out to the suburbs. All cabs are labeled.
Dress Code:
- Conference Sessions (Monday through Wednesday) – Business Attire
- First Time Attendee Brunch (Sunday) – Business Casual
- Welcome Reception (Sunday) – Business Attire
- Wiley Award Banquet (Tuesday) – Coat and Tie is recommended (Blues Brothers or 1920's Gangster Attire Optional)

- Spouse Tour: 14 Items, 100 Outfits (Sunday, June 7th)
- Spouse Tour: Dinner Party Culinary Class (Monday, June 8th)

Silent Auction:
Please consider bringing an item along to offer for the Silent Auction to benefit the AFDO Scholarship Fund.

AT THE CONFERENCE…
First Time Attendees Brunch:
All first time attendees are encouraged to attend! This is an excellent opportunity to meet other conference attendees and acclimate yourself with the AFDO conference. The brunch will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2008 at 10:30AM.
Continuing Education Contact Hours:
Contact Hours have been approved for through NEHA. Forms and information will be available in the attendee binders and will need to be signed by a designated AFDO representative. [Visit Page Now]
Registration:
The AFDO Registration area will be located in the Grand Foyer area of the Chicago-Oak Brook Doubletree Hotel.
