FDA Approves First Generic Monensin for Use in Cattle and Goats, Reminds Users of Toxicity for Horses

@SecretarySonny

@FDAfood

@FDAMedia

  • ·       FDA approves Monovet 90, the 1st generic monensin for use in cattle/goats. While it’s safe for certain species, it’s toxic/potentially lethal for horses, so we’re reminding medicated feed mills to follow current good manufacturing practices when using: https://go.usa.gov/xyKDD
