STAN HAZAN - SENIOR DIRECTOR OF SCIENTIFIC AND REGULATORY AFFAIRS OF NSF INTERNATIONAL RECEIVES THE ASSOCIATION OF FOOD & DRUG OFFICIALS (AFDO) ASSOCIATE MEMBER AWARD
Providence, Rhode Island, June 5, 2102 – Stan Hazan, NSF International was awarded the Associate Member Award at the 116th AFDO Annual Educational Conference on June 5, 2012.The Associate Member Award is to be awarded to an Associate Member of AFDO. Qualification for this award is based upon long-term active membership in the Association, active involvement in committee work, development of model codes and demonstrated promotion of the objectives of the Association. This award is presented each year at the Annual Educational Conference.
Stan Hazan has worked for 23 years at NSF International, a global organization that writes national public health product standards, inspects, tests and certifies products for the food, water, and consumer goods industries. As an expert in third party certification, he has worked closely with federal and state agencies, legislative bodies, and organizations such as AFDO to help promote public health and safety initiatives. Stan is a member of AFDO’s Associate Committee.
