The deadline for taking this course is March 1, 2012
Existing trainers must complete three (3) tasks to maintain their “qualified” trainer status and to continue teaching the Seafood HACCP course.
- Prior to taking this course, instructors must view the FDA Video Broadcast below, which addresses important changes in the 4th Edition of the FDA’s Fish and Fishery Products Hazards and Controls Guidance, which was released in April 2011.

- Complete the online SHA Trainer Re-Qualification Course. It is strongly recommended that the course be followed in sequence, beginning with the Introduction/Chapter 1 presentation. Trainers must review all of the modules and complete a training form. Information on the training form will be provided during the course.
- Re-register with AFDO to obtain a Trainer Re-Qualification certificate. Instructions are provided during the course.
